Olivier DiPlacido | Guitar http://olivierdiplacido.wordpress.com/
Tony Buck (born 1962 in Sydney) is a drummer and percussionist. He graduated from the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music (now Sydney Conservatorium of Music), becoming involved in the Australian jazz scene. Buck is a founding member of The Necks with Chris Abrahams and Lloyd Swanton since 1987. He is leader of Peril, who he formed in Japan with Otomo Yoshihide and Kato Hideki, and astroPeril. He also formed the short lived L’Beato in the early 1990s, an industrial-oriented outfit reminiscent of Tackhead, which released one EP “The Piston Song”. In the early nineties Buck moved from Australia to Amsterdam and later moved to Berlin, where he currently lives. He formed the band Glacial with Lee Ranaldo and David Watson. Projekt Transmit was released in 2009, featuring 8 original songs written by Buck and one cover of Masters of War by Bob Dylan. A band was formed around this album consisting of Magda Mayas on keyboards, James Welburn on bass, Brendan Dougherty on drumset and Buck on guitar, vocals, drumset and percussion.
Olivier Di Placido is a self-taught musician who performs on electric guitar. His approach is mainly focused on the manipulation and the sonic possibilities of each elements of the guitar as a sound source (Unscrewed neck, unfixed pickup, broken strings or not, electricity and short circuit, frets, whammy bar, magnets…). He’s ausculting and trashing them all by mooving the pickup around the instrument. He develops a world of tension and rupture with an interest for non narrative structure and spontaneous form. During the past few years, he has collaborated and played on concert with many musicien as well as solo performance in Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Sweeden and Italy.

Michael Vorfeld | Light Bulbs http://www.vorfeld.org
I started playing music when I was fourteen, after hitch-hiking to the next bigger city and buying a pair of bongos. Increasing my percussion set, I had my first groups. After school I worked in a studio for photography in Cologne. At the same time I got more and more interested in improvised and experimental music. As a member of the artist group ‘Heinrich Mucken’, founded in 1982, I got involved in site specific art projects. I studied art in Cologne and Visual Communication in Kassel(MA). My visual interest shifted towards the use of light in three dimensional spaces. Now I am living in Berlin, working as musician and visual artist. The list of activities includes concerts, performances and exhibitions among others:’documenta 8′ Kassel (with the artist group ‘Heinrich Mucken’), ‘Moltkerei Werkstatt’ Cologne, ‘Het Apollohuis’ Eindhoven, ‘Logos Foundation’ Ghent, ‘Künstlerhaus am Deich’ Bremen, ‘Palais des Beaux Arts’ Brussels, ‘Melkweg’ Amsterdam, ‘Künstlerhaus’ Dortmund, ‘Expo - German Pavillon’ Hannover, ‘Goethe Institut’ Hanoi, ‘Experimental Intermedia’ New York, ‘Podewil’ Berlin, ‘Center of Contemporary Art’ Warshow, ‘Plan B’ Tokyo, Stadtmuseum Cologne, Architektur Museum Basel, Kunstgewerbemuseum Frankfurt/M, ‘De Fabriek’ Eindhoven/NL, Underground Car Park Kassel, ‘Klang Art Festival’ Osnabrück, ‘The Substation’ Singapore,’Art in General’, New York, Planetarium Kassel.

A alchemical live act setting formed by two distinct identities as a performance practice directed towards a collage chosen from a open variety of technics and processes.Concerned with the ecology of the hearing and rather in a intensive combination both presenting a spatial construction of processed Unwanted objects, field recordings, useless sensors, mismatched antennas, oscillating receivers, distorted mixers, outdated open source soft and hardware, reverse-engineered consumer electronics. Jammed wireless ambience, mono microphony.Possibly ending in a rather extreme quality of experience for equiptment, performers and the audience as well. www.soundcloud.com/pxprd www.myspace.com/pxprd
