During the past five years, the french artist Marion Auburtin has been focusing her work on painting miniatures, following a long and meticulous process of work with a maniac and distant approach. In Recalling early Renaissance masters, still life, medical studies or films noirs images, Auburtin produces objects and paintings dealing most of the time with reversable feelings like seduction and repulsion, training and perfection, luxury and death, beauty and difformities, etc…
Exhibited for the first time at Able Kulturverein, La morte amoureuse is an installation of objects and paintings in which divin iconography and naturalist representations are floating in the same space, suspended in the same time.
